Understanding and addressing the harms of emerging technologies on women and girls
Misogyny & AI Network
The Misogyny & AI Network is a UK based campaign bringing together sector experts, parliamentarians, and campaigners to advocate for a safer world online and offline for women and girls. In facilitating this, we aim to connect, convene, and influence.
Our primary concerns are:
Amplification of existing biases and prejudices in new technologies.
Use of AI technologies, models, and software to create tools of abuse.
Use of unrepresentative datasets in AI models, creating by-proxy harms that disproportionately affect women and marginalized groups.
